AI visibility checker
Can AI search engines read your website?
Before an AI assistant can describe or cite your business, it has to reach your pages and understand them. Geolytic checks the parts you control.
What does this checker measure?
It measures the conditions on your own website that AI visibility depends on: crawl access, structured data and business clarity. Every result comes from pages Geolytic actually fetched, and each finding shows the URL and the evidence observed.
Can AI crawlers access my site?
Geolytic reads your robots.txt and reports, crawler by crawler, whether AI search and AI assistant bots — such as OAI-SearchBot, ChatGPT-User, GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and Google-Extended — are allowed or blocked. It also flags pages marked noindex and pages that return errors, because a page no crawler can load can't be used in an answer. Some of these bots collect training data rather than search results; you decide which to allow.
Is my structured data valid?
Structured data (schema.org JSON-LD) tells machines what a page is about: your organization, products, articles or location. Geolytic checks which pages carry it and whether each block parses correctly. Invalid markup is reported with the page where it was found.
Is my business clearly described?
AI systems need to know who you are. Geolytic checks whether your business name, what you offer and your contact details are stated clearly and consistently across your pages, and whether they're machine-readable.
Does this show if ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity recommend me?
No — not yet. Checking real AI answers needs live provider integrations, which Geolytic doesn't run today. In your dashboard those providers are marked Not configured, and Geolytic never estimates or invents mentions. Good readiness makes your site easier for AI systems to use, but nobody can guarantee a citation.
What do I get?
These checks feed your GEO readiness score, explained on the GEO audit page. The same scan runs a full technical SEO audit, with prioritized fixes and a downloadable PDF report. Scoring rules are on the methodology page.
